Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Snake Rush collects when you play Snake Rush at https://snakerush.org/, how it is used, and the choices you have. In short: you can play without an account, your game progress stays on your device, we only collect anonymous statistics about how the game is played, and the site is paid for by ads.

Information stored on your device

Your progress (scores, coins, levels, skins, settings, achievements, a run in progress and your leaderboard nickname) is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so use the backup code in your Profile if you want to keep it or move it to another device.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how the game is played and to improve it, we record anonymous events such as starting or finishing a run, the mode played, the score reached, settings changed, star ratings and technical error messages when something goes wrong. These events do not include your name, email address or any other information that identifies you. Like any website, our hosting and analytics providers also see technical details your browser sends, such as browser type, device type, language, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.

Advertising

Snake Rush is free because it shows ads. We use Google AdSense, including Google's ads for web games. Ads appear on the website pages around the game and between runs, never while you are playing. Some ads are optional: you can choose to watch one for a free revive or to double the coins from a run.

Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and, if you agree, make them more relevant to you. Ads are chosen partly from your approximate location, which is worked out from your internet connection, so visitors in different countries see different ads. Your consent

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, through a consent message provided by Google, whether ads may be personalised. You can say no and still play everything; you will then see ads that are not based on your interests. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in that message.

Fonts and other files

Every file the website and the game need, including the fonts, is served from snakerush.org itself. Your visit is not shared with a font or file service.

Cookies

The game itself does not need cookies: your progress is kept in local storage as described above. Cookies on snakerush.org come from our ad and analytics providers, as explained in this policy. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; ads will still appear, but may be less relevant.

Game portals

If you play Snake Rush on another website, such as a game portal, that website's own privacy policy also applies to your visit there.

Feedback emails

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to improve the game. We do not sell, rent or share it.

Children

Snake Rush is suitable for players of all ages and does not ask for personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle, but no method of storing or sending data over the internet is completely secure.

Our pages may link to websites we don't run. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

We may update this policy as the game changes. The date below shows when it was last updated.
