Classic: the Snake you know
Classic is the original game: steer the snake to the food, grow longer with every bite, and don't crash into the walls or your own tail. You choose how it plays.
Make it yours
- 7 speeds, from Very slow to Very fast. Hold a direction to speed up for a moment.
- 5 board sizes, from Tiny 7×7 to Huge 37×37, and 1, 3 or 5 pieces of food at a time.
- Walls on or off. With walls off, the snake comes out on the other side of the board.
- Peaceful mode: bumping into something only stops the snake, so young players can learn without losing.
- Bonus pickups (Shield, Ghost, Slow-mo, Magnet and Double points) and a life cycle, where a grown snake lays eggs that hatch into wild snakes, can each be turned on or off.
A full board
When only 3 empty cells are left, your snake has reached its longest. It stops growing, and each piece of food you eat comes back 4 seconds later, so you can keep scoring for as long as you avoid a crash.
Tips
- Move along the edges and fold back and forth in rows, so your tail always leaves you a way out.
- Each speed and board size keeps its own best score, so you can set records at every level.
Questions
Can I play Snake without walls?
Yes. Turn walls off in Settings and the snake wraps around to the other side of the board instead of crashing.
Is there an easy mode for kids?
Yes. Turn on Peaceful mode in Settings: hitting a wall or the snake's body only stops it, and the run never ends in a crash.
What happens when the board is full?
With 3 empty cells left the snake stops growing, and the food keeps coming back every 4 seconds until you crash.
